    • As this is a self-study program, you can start at any time and learn at your own pace. All dates for live online self-experience sessions and online exams are arranged individually with you.

    • With a wide range of tools, self-experience sessions, and comprehensive course materials, we offer a strong practical focus that makes it easier for you to launch your career.

    • Our curriculum is aligned with university-level studies. You receive a solid, comprehensive, and certified education that is easy to understand.

    • All fees are final prices; they include online access, self-experience sessions, module exams, certificates of attendance, and certificates of completion.
       
    • The training and advanced training courses can be completed alongside your professional career.
    • Our school offers all programs using a modular system. This means for you:

      • You can book each course individually. This is a great option if you wish to further your education in specific subject areas.
      • Individual courses are grouped into thematic modules. These modules can also be booked separately.
      • In addition to specialized advanced training courses—such as "Specialist in Elementary Music Therapy" and "Specialist in Child Music Therapy"—we also offer comprehensive training to become a "Music Therapist."
      • We have compiled specific modules for the following training programs: Music Therapist (6 modules); Specialist in Elementary Music Therapy (2 modules); and Specialist in Child Music Therapy (12 courses).
      • All courses and modules can be combined with one another, and credit for them is applied toward the corresponding full training programs.

    The teaching concept of the Online School for Music Therapy & Tools:Students learning

     
    Various media are used to present the topics in an engaging and diverse way. Condensed to the essentials, the courses help you quickly put the knowledge you have gained into practice. You can access the courses via computer, tablet, or mobile phone.

     

    The courses are designed for self-study. This means you can start at any time and study at your own pace and convenience, managing your own schedule.
    With a study commitment of approximately 4–6 hours per week, you can complete the two specialist training courses in about 4–6 months, and the full training program in about 12–18 months. Extensions are possible at any time.
     

    The live online experiential sessions represent a modern alternative to in-person classes. In these sessions, you will experience—live, either individually or in small groups with instructors—the various ways music works within music-based therapy. Course content includes practicing improvisation, musical dialogues and role-playing, complete session examples across various fields of application, systemic constellations using instruments, and much more.     Thanks to a unique video tool, we are able to transmit music, sounds, and collaborative music-making without any loss of quality.

    You will receive a certificate of participation after submitting the review questions for individual instruction and tool courses.
    Certification of Training and Advanced Training Courses:Certificate

    The training and advanced training courses are divided into various modules, each concluding with a live online oral exam. Once you have successfully passed all the online oral exams, your successful completion of the training or advanced training course will be certified by the Online School for Music Therapy & Tools. The cost of the certificates is included in the total price.

    You may officially use the title associated with the qualification you have earned in Germany and many other European countries. You can practice the profession in a self-employed capacity (such as in your own private practice) or as an employee in clinical, medical, nursing, educational, rehabilitative, athletic, school-based, childcare, or social care settings.

    The profession of music therapist can be learned either through university studies or through a vocational training or further education program.

    Admission requirements for the training program are determined individually by the schools or training providers.

    As there is no statutory regulation for the music therapist profession, it is important to us that you receive comprehensive, practice-oriented, and certified training that enables you to work as a music therapist in various fields.

    To enroll in the school, please fill out the contact form. At the bottom of the form, you can select the course(s) you wish to book. You will then receive an invoice for the course fees. Once payment has been received in our account, you will be sent your access details for the online school, and the courses you booked will be activated for you.
